Of special interest to Dr. Wolf, is feline internal and geriatric medicine, including management of multifactorial illness combined illnesses such as thyroid, kidney and dental disease. Ensuring our kitties' medical needs are addressed and that they are comfortable and receiving adequate nutrition are priorities.
Dr. Wolf completed her certification for animal acupuncture from Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians at Colorado State University in 2011. Dr. Wolf has a special interest in chronic disease therapy via traditional Western medicine and progressive therapies, such as acupuncture, rehabilitation services, massage therapy and physical therapy.
She also holds master’s degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield and bachelor’s degrees in Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign. Areas of research included canine and feline internal medicine, aquatic biology/ecosystems and dairy cattle thermoregulation under heat stress.
Wolf Veterinary Services, started in May 2011, is a mobile veterinary service in the Springfield area, offering flexible scheduling options and at-home visits to ensure convenience and comfort for both you and your furry family members.
Dr. Wolf resides in Springfield with her son and several pets. Her 7 cats (Binky, Squintz, Wyatt, Penny, Bento, Ava and L’Orange) are rescued pets, some with individual special needs. Lily is her Golden Retriever and day-to-day office and travel buddy.
